The Arrival:
I used my Millenium Falcon Extraordinaire as the ship in this first strip. It is a display piece from Toys R Us that the store used back when the 1990's POTF figures were released. Rosie O'Donnell was having a raffle where you could register to win one. There were 600 or 700 available, one from each store.
My brother and I (both hardcore Star Wars fans) registered, as did my wife. She's the one that actually won it. In order to be able to receive it, we had to sign and have notarized an afadavit that agreed we would not use it for profit (which included selling it.)
It was in decent condition, there are electronic lights that do not work, and a few of the stickers are missing. It's also slightly yellowed, suggesting that this particular ship was under a skylight or something.
The "crew" is portrayed by Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Mirage from the Transformers Classics line, and Wheeljack (Downshift) from the Cybertron line. I really like the Mirage figure, and of course the Autobot spy team wouldn't be complete with out Bumblebee. And what Autobot exploration vessel would be complete without mad scientist Wheeljack? (yeah, yeah, Downshift.)
The welcoming party is Armada Prime, Cybertron Prime, and World's Smallest Prime.
