The Battle Plan

The Battle Plan

Cuz, as every child of the 80's knows, that's all girl GI Joes are good for anyway.

I like the set dressing. Especially the clever use of the "G.I. Joe" logo in the background.

Believe it or not, I actually put a lot of thought into this one. The "tent" is an army duffel bag I use when I go camping. The crates are from a Crash Bandicoot figure. There's a lot more to this set than *ahem* meets the eye. Over to the left is Roadblock's .50 cal machine gun, along with an MG-34 mounted behind some sand bags. Back behind these is a whole pant-load of M4 carbines and other weapons, but you really only see a couple of rifles and a SAW laying on the ground behind Mirage (which I totally forgot to move prior to shooting). I intended this to be a forward CP. This is actually an old computer desk that I don't use. I like it because it's multi-leveled. The lower "level" is where you are supposed to set the monitor, and the higher level (where the GI Joe sign is) is where the keyboard and stuff is supposed to go.

I like the last panel XD I can hardly remember GI Joe (I'm not even sure whether I watched it or not, I watched too many cartoons to actually remember which I watched and didn't). When I heard of there were female characters like Scarlett and Lady Jaye, I thought that was pretty cool...until I saw your comment on their roles.

By far my favorite strip in the series. It's hilariously inappropriate.
