My solution to a similar problem was hiding it all in the darkest corner of the attic. She's afraid of the attic.

I wonder what will the Transformes do in this situation.

The solution is simple take all the non delicate toys and put them in a bag later that night while your wife is sleeping quietly slip a pillow over here head and just hold it there then throw a couple dozen sleeping pills down her throat and there you go

I had a similar problem too, I just left it alone and when time was up she asked about what i did and i told her to not touch it. :)

Box almost all of it up, then each week pull a few things out of the box... slowly replenish.. she will never know...

But i feel your pain.. have entire storm trooper battalion sitting in a box in the attic.. My transformers on the other hand have survived on my computer desk. and i have been slowly building back up again...

don't grow up!! that is no fun... your wife should love you toys & all...no nagging! :P

also i am 30, but i won't give the toys up until i am ready to, which maybe never...good thing my BF loves them as much as i do!

p.s.you look different than i thought as indicated from your last post ;)

NOOOOO! She can't take your toys away! Tell her that they are a part of you and it is where you get all you personality and charm and if you get rid of them you will be this life-less hulk and if she doesn't love your toys then she doesn't love you. Fight the Fight! Besides, if you get rid of them, what will you use in your web comic, paper cut-outs?

So, ummm. I guess it's time to come clean. My wife isn't really making me get rid of my toys. It's a comic. Sheesh!

The worst she's ever done is tell me that I have to take what I've spent in toys over the years and spend that on a new ring for her. She has since revised her position to let me off the hook for a few grand.

The lesson here, guys, is to make sure you have a spouse that will be accepting of your problems. Or look the other way. And let you off the hook if you bribe them.

Teresa - I've been told that I'm much taller in person!

Jody - You oughta know better.

John - I am totally going to ignore this post and not advocate that position at all.

In other words, I'll take that under advisement ;-)

So the comic wasn't autobiographical, but does your wife really bear any resemblance to Rei??

Just curious.

My girlfriend (probably wife someday) does the opposite. She encourages me to buy more toys. She came home with animated Grimlock before I could find it. She actually looked for it.

AgentMo - It's really more of a resemblance to the merged Rei/Lilith in that she's terrible and beautiful, and has the power to destroy the humanity, but yes.

Heavy: LOL. Evangelion was so awesome. To this day my most favorite Anime series right next to Macross.

Some day perhaps I'll meet my Asuka.
